Okra, Flowers, and Peppers OH MY!

It’s been a busy time for us this season, our okra and pepper plant seem to be doing very well.  We also started planting moon flowers, morning glory, wildflowers and the ever so famous sunflowers. Speaking of sunflowers, we’ve planted some in pots and in a little plot in our front yard, which is a first for us. Let’s hope all goes well. We cannot wait to see the results.

Last year we planted sunflowers in a pot that my amazing mother-in-law gave us; Tim  and I then decided that this year we’d begin our gardening hobby, we  have many photos which will be shared soon in the upcoming photo gallery. :) Included will be photos that we took while visiting the poppy trail. I promise you will love what you see, it is part of what inspired us to garden. :D

Our pepper plant is finally developing a pepper, and it’s really exciting because, we’ve never grown fruits or veggies. Peppers are considered to be fruits, I never knew until recently, it was a surprise.  Our okra is growing fast and quick! Our flowers should begin to sprout up soon, hopefully within a few days. With the rain we had recently it should be soon. :)

We cannot wait to show you what we are growing, there is a lot of inspiration that helped us to develop this new hobby. Thank you for reading. Please leave your feedback in the comment box. Enjoy your stay! :)
